Our Stories

Congratulations to our most recent graduates from Mamire Teachers’ College in Tanzania!

A total of 26 new teachers celebrated their achievements at Mamire Teachers’ College in Tanzania in 2018, bringing the total of graduates up to 226 since the college first opened its doors back in 2016.

According to UNESCO, Sub-Saharan Africa will account for two thirds of the new teachers needed globally by 2030. Together with our partners, stakeholders and your support, So They Can is helping to improve this statistic, one teacher at a time.

A huge congratulations to the newly qualified teachers of Mamire Teachers’ College — we look forward to hearing about the incredible impact they will go on to have in the years to come.
