Simmons & Simmons Charity Partnership Announcement
We are delighted to share that So They Can has been announced as a charity partner of the Simmons & Simmons Charitable Foundation for 2026.
Simmons & Simmons is an international law firm with a presence in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the US. Simmons & Simmons has committed to donating £1 million to charities annually across their networks globally, with So They Can having been selected by the Simmons & Simmons London office.
The firm’s Charitable Foundation is based on the UN’s sustainability goals, and this latest partnership underscores their deep commitment to education, justice and gender equality. Through this partnership, Simmons & Simmons will support So They Can to reach more than 29,000 children across 52 partner schools in Kenya and Tanzania in 2026.
This partnership announcement follows Simmons & Simmons generously hosting the UK Launch of So They Can in September 2025 at their London offices in Moorgate. The evening brought together more than 100 supporters, partners, and new friends united by a shared belief in the power of education to transform lives. Guests heard first-hand stories from So They Can’s projects in Kenya and Tanzania, and learned about the organisation’s mission to keep children learning amid the challenges of 2025’s global aid cuts.
We are grateful to Katja Ullrich-North, Chair of So They Can England & Wales and Partner at Simmons & Simmons, and the Simmons & Simmons Charitable Foundation for their ongoing support of So They Can’s work, and their dedication to evidence-based, measurable, and scalable impact.
