Supporting girls to stay in school and lead change in their communities.
Ambassadors of Hope is a flagship initiative of our Keeping Girls in School project.
It gives girls in Baringo County, Kenya, the support they need to finish school and become champions for girls' rights.
Girls face extra, gendered barriers to education. Unless those barriers are addressed, our impact can't be sustainable or long term.
Our Keeping Girls in School project brings the whole community together around the importance of girls' education, including girls' human rights, their health and wellbeing, and their contribution to society.

"The Ambassadors of Hope initiative is a transformative approach to girls' empowerment. It supports girls in Baringo County, Kenya, who are at risk of FGC and child marriage with a scholarship to stay in primary school and continue on to secondary education. The scholarship covers school fees, boarding, uniforms and educational materials. The initiative also provides medical and culturally appropriate psychosocial care."

Through Ambassadors of Hope, we hope the girls we have the privilege of working with will go on to become girls' rights champions themselves.
They'll have the confidence to advocate for, protect and advance girls' rights in their villages. They will be tomorrow's changemakers.
