Why we exist
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, thrive and reach their full potential. Through education, children gain the knowledge, confidence and opportunities they need to create brighter futures for themselves, their families and communities.
That's why we work alongside communities in Kenya and Tanzania to create lasting change through education.
To empower children and communities to break the poverty cycle.
We aim to break the poverty cycle by providing children with access to quality education. Our three staged sustainable model achieves this through improved learning environments, well-trained and supported teachers, holistic child development, empowered local communities, and strong partnerships with governments.
Our sustainable, community-led approach addresses the barriers that prevent children from accessing and succeeding in education.

Education is one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty.
When children have access to quality education, they are more likely to complete school, secure meaningful employment, improve their health and contribute to thriving communities. The benefits extend beyond individual children, creating opportunities for future generations.
Working in Africa as CEO of So They Can, she gains so much from the communities she works with. They have taught her to be grateful for what she has got, to live in the present, the value of Ubuntu (I am because of you) and the importance of global balance.
