Andrew Durante
Andrew is a former professional footballer who captained the Wellington Phoenix and represented New Zealand's national team, the All Whites. He supported So They Can for many years, donating his time whenever the opportunity arose, before becoming an Ambassador.
As a father of three girls, Andrew found the challenges facing children and families living in poverty in East Africa especially close to home. He is committed to raising awareness of the power of education to create opportunity, and lives in Wellington with his wife, Sarah, and their daughters.
