Emergency COVID-19 Appeal
We're working hard to support our children and families in East Africa.
Will you help us?
Education is life changing. Now more than ever.
With the COVID-19 pandemic spreading through Africa, millions of lives are at risk due to the inadequate healthcare systems and access to basic hygiene.
Our So They Can teams in Kenya and Tanzania have expanded their work to focus on preventing the spread of coronavirus. Right now we are providing hygiene education, access to water stations and soap, and making reusable face masks to protect our community.
With your help we can protect the most vulnerable.
So far we have:
Established 120+ water stations providing communities with access to soap and clean water.
Made 6,000+ reuseable
face masks, with more being sewn daily by the Sew Women Can team.
Delivered 13,400 Home Learning Packs to more than 3,900.
Continued to provide essential education on the importance of hand washing and basic sanitation.

3. Pay it forward & change lives
Give so they can wash their hands.
With essential hand washing supplies like clean water and soap out of reach for many families, right now our water stations are essential in the communities we support.
Our water hygiene and education stations are manned throughout the day by our Water Volunteers.
With your help we will make sure these these stations stay open.
