We are currently looking for...
UK Board Members
So They Can is currently in the process of applying to become a UK registered charity, and is looking for passionate Board Members to join our UK Board to support our fundraising efforts.
It is a hugely exciting time to become an active contributor to our mission in the UK. You will be part of one of six boards globally applying and developing governance and fundraising strategies to enable us to achieve our mission (Australia, NZ, US, Kenya, Tanzania and UK).
As a UK Trustee of So They Can, you will play a key role in the continued growth and essential work of the organisation, to allow it to achieve its aim of “Educate to Empower” through strategic fundraising initiatives. Your engagement will lead to immense satisfaction in knowing that you are participating in improving educational results for teachers, students and their communities in East Africa.
US Board Members
So They Can is currently in the process of establishing our brand and building awareness of our organization in the US and is looking for passionate Directors to join our US Board to support our fundraising efforts.
It is a hugely exciting time to become an active contributor to our mission and fundraising initiatives in the US. You will be part of one of six boards globally applying and developing governance and fundraising strategies to enable us to achieve our mission (Australia, NZ, US, Kenya, Tanzania and we are currently establishing our UK entity).
Ideally, So They Can’s US Directors would be located on the West Coast (in or with easy access to California) or the East Coast (in or with easy access to Massachusetts), as these are the two states that So They Can is/will be registered to fundraise in initially.
Development Manager (USA-based role)
We are currently looking for a passionate, action-oriented team player to join our team as Development Manager (USA-based role).
This exciting opportunity has been developed to help us identify and build strategic partnerships with Corporates, Foundations, High Net Worth individuals in the USA, and grow our sponsorship to enable So They Can to deliver and expand our impact in East Africa.
The role will be responsible for reviewing and updating the development strategy to ensure it is fit-for-purpose in the USA, researching strategic partners, building relationships in order to acquire new partners and maintaining those relationships. Working closely with our international CEO, Marketing and Communications Manager, and Partnerships Manager in Australasia, the Development Manager will be a core part of the International So They Can team.
